Benedetta Carpi De Resmini is an art curator and critic with a commitment to gender studies. Her work operates at the intersection of contemporary art and cultural activism, rethinking the creative process as a social, political, and collective practice. Through her curatorial practice, she explores the relationships between body, identity, space, and power, amplifying marginalized voices and narratives.

In 2024, she was selected as curator of the Farnesina Collection, promoting Italian art abroad with the exhibition Identity Beyond Borders. In 2022, she conceived Città Foresta, an interdisciplinary and participatory festival dedicated to Rome, now a reference point for collective and inclusive artistic practices. She is the creator of the EU-co-funded platform Magic Carpets, involving over 21 art organizations and promoting the mobility of emerging artists in site-specific and community-based projects.

She has served as a curator at MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, contributing to projects that bridge art and social issues. She has curated exhibitions and reviews in Italy and internationally, advocating for a critical and inclusive perspective.

She teaches Curatorial Studies at 24Ore Business School and Accademia Treccani and has been a Visiting Professor at Temple University (Rome and Philadelphia) and Bryn Mawr College (Philadelphia, USA). She is currently Director of Latitudo Art Projects and President of CAP| Cities Art Projects. She serves on the Scientific Committee of the Tomaso Binga Archive, is a member of ICOM, and is an active member of IKT – International Association of Contemporary Art Curators.
