Daniela Festa is a jurist and urban geographer. She is a researcher at La Sapienza University of Rome where she teaches Political and Economic Geography. She has conducted research in Italy, France, and the United States. Through a critical approach and a decolonial feminist perspective, her research investigates the relationship between collective action and urban space; the right to the city and urban justice; processes of material and symbolic reappropriation of common goods; the housing crisis and the right to housing; cultural heritage and touristification processes.
