Doctor in contemporary art history, Fabien Danesi has been the director of FRAC Corsica since October 2021. A former resident of the French Academy in Rome - Villa Medici, he was a lecturer at the Arts Department of the University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens between 2008 and 2021. He has authored several works such as "The Broken Myth of the Situationist International. The adventure of an avant-garde at the heart of mass culture (1945-2008)" (Les Presses du réel, 2008), "Guy Debord's Cinema or Negativity at Work (1952-1994)" (Paris Experimental, 2011), "The Beauty of Indifference or Marcel Duchamp's Step" (Sens & Tonka, 2012), and "Aesthetic Ecstasy. Jean Baudrillard and the consumption-consumption of art" (Sens & Tonka, 2014). He has also served as the artistic director of Le Pavillon, the creative laboratory of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2014-2017) and Casa Conti - Ange Leccia (2015-2021) in Oletta. As a curator, he has organized numerous exhibitions, such as "The Dialectics of the Stars. Extinction dancefloor with Manu Park at Platform-L in Seoul (2018), "Prince.sse.s of the Cities" with Hugo Vitrani at the Palais de Tokyo (2019), "Our World is Burning" with Abdellah Karroum at the Palais de Tokyo (2020), and "The Secrets of Alidades" as part of 21,39 Jeddah Arts (2021).
