Grazia Amelia Bellitta (b. 1989) is originally from Calabria. In 2008, she moved to Lecce, where she graduated in Art Publishing from the Academy of Fine Arts. Her research is rooted in ritual practices, folk magic, and the intimate transmission of family gestures. She operates in a realm between private and collective dimensions, bringing apotropaic symbols, Southern traditions, and memory-based forms of care into dialogue.
Through inherited elements, she transforms personal experiences into shared rituals, where intimacy becomes an anthropological and aesthetic device. Her practice moves between object, performance, and participation, always guided by an attitude that blends folk magic with raw earth, and alienation with enchantment.
